11 HOW TO APPLY If you meet all of the eligibility criteria, there are two ways to apply for a South Australian Seniors Card. 1. Complete the online application form at www.sa.gov.au/seniorscard 2. Complete an application form, available: • from South Australian public libraries • by downloading and printing from www.sa.gov.au/seniorscard Return your completed application form to the Seniors Card Unit. Please allow 10 business days for your card to arrive via post. UPDATING YOUR DETAILS If you move or need to update your phone number or email address, use Seniors Card member online services at www.sa.gov.au/seniorscard/updatedetails or phone the Seniors Card Unit on 1800 819 961 (freecall). LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED CARDS The Seniors Card is a free lifetime card and is only reissued if lost, stolen or damaged, or if you change your name. If you require a replacement card, use Seniors Card member online services at www.sa.gov.au/seniorscard/updatedetails or phone the Seniors Card Unit on 1800 819 961 (freecall). USING YOUR SENIORS CARD • Your Seniors Card is also a Metrocard for use on Adelaide Metro public transport services. Turn to pages 26-28 for more information about how to use your Seniors Card to access free and discounted public transport. • Take your Seniors Card with you everywhere, even when travelling. All Australian states and territories have a Seniors Card program and most participating businesses accept cards from interstate.
