Hours traders can visit: ´ 9am to 6pm weekdays ´ 9am to 5pm on Saturday ´ Banned on Sundays or public holidays. Your rights: ´ Door to door traders must show you ID and must leave your premises at your request. ´ If the contract is over $100, there must be a written contract and you get a 10 day cooling-off period (right to cancel the contract). Beware travelling tradespeople They are often not licensed; their work substandard; and they’re difficult to contact if there are problems.
