Apply for a Seniors Card online

Filling out the Seniors Card online application form is the quickest and easiest way to kick off your Seniors Card membership.

Who can apply?

You can apply for a South Australian Seniors Card if:

  • you're aged 60 years or older
  • you’re aged 50 years of age or older and identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • you're a citizen or permanent resident of Australia, residing in South Australia

How to apply?

To apply online you'll need one of these:

  • driver's license number
  • Medicare number
  • pension card number.

The initial card is issued free of charge.

Complete a hard copy application form:

  1. Pick up an application form from a South Australian public library. Find your nearest library. (external site)
  2. Post or email the completed application form to the Seniors Card Unit.

What happens next?

Your card is ready to use on public transport and at participating businesses as soon as you receive it. With mailing service, please anticipate approximately two weeks for the card to arrive from the time you receive email confirmation.
