WIN AN IN-SEASON DOUBLE PASS TO THE 2026 HSBC SPANISH & LATIN AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL

The upcoming 2026 HSBC Spanish & Latin American Film Festival returns to Adelaide from 10 June to 5 July at Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas and Palace Nova Prospect Cinemas. The festival will feature a dynamic line-up of over thirty films from Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

The festival’s centrepiece film, Sundays (Los domingos), is the winner of five Goya Awards, including Best Film. This quietly spellbinding film has captivated both audiences and critics alike, while the festival’s opening night selection Mistura is a delicious drama celebrating the gastronomy and people of Peru, starring Bárbara Mori as a woman embarking on a transformative culinary journey.

The Captive (El cautivo), offers a sweeping historical epic from award-winning director Alejandro Amenábar, and follows a young Miguel de Cervantes on a gripping journey of survival and discovery.

For thrill-seekers, The Tigers (Los Tigres) stars Antonio de la Torre and Bárbara Lennie in a tense maritime drama from award-winning director Alberto Rodríguez, while Nothing Between Us (Nada entre los dos) offers a charming, intimate love story starring Gael García Bernal and Natalia Oreiro.
