For many years, Adelaide audiences missed the joy of a Proms-style Christmas celebration. In 2024, local vocal group The 60 Four reimagined the tradition, delighting audiences with their own fresh take. In 2025, they return to continue what is fast becoming a new festive favourite.

For one day only – Sunday 7 December – South Australians can celebrate Christmas in style with two concerts that blend the magic of carols with the thrill of live performance.

But this isn’t your traditional Proms. This is Christmas with a twist – where festive classics sit side by side with the greatest hits of the 1960s and 70s. Think The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons woven through the carols you know and love, creating a show that will have audiences clapping, singing, and dancing their way into December.

At the heart of it all are The 60 Four, widely celebrated as Australia’s best tribute act. With world-class four-part harmonies, slick choreography and sharp suits, the group has built a reputation for reimagining retro hits for a new generation – and now they’re bringing that same energy to the Christmas stage.

Despite their growing international profile, The 60 Four remain proudly Adelaide-based. For them, reviving the Proms-style tradition at the Town Hall is a way to give something back to the city where it all began.

And there’s no better setting. Adelaide Town Hall, one of South Australia’s most iconic concert venues, provides the perfect backdrop – combining history, grandeur and festive spirit for a concert that feels both timeless and new.
