
If you are 65 years and over and looking to socialise with new people, you are welcome to join Greek Orthodox Community of SA (GOCSA) Community Care Services Glandore, Mitcham and Salisbury Social Support Groups.
Interacting with others in a culturally sensitive way has many benefits in healthy ageing and can assist promote a sense of overall wellbeing.
The groups are friendly and welcoming, places where you can enjoy your meal with others and activities such as bingo, music, dancing, light exercise, and some outdoor activities.
Glandore group is held in the Camden Community Hall,Carlisle Street, Corner and Carlton Road, Camden Park, every fortnight on a Thursday 9:00 am– 2:00 pm.
Mitcham group is held in the Mitcham Community Centre, 242 Belair Road Mitcham, every fortnight on a Thursday 9:00 am– 2:00 pm.
Salisbury group is held in the Salisbury North Football Club, 39-41 Bagster Road, Salisbury Downs, every fortnight on a Wednesday 9:30 am– 2:30 pm.
GOCSA Community Care Services have great staff and volunteers to help with the group activities.
You can also learn about services that can help you with your daily living.
GOCSA Community Care Services Social Support Groups host guest speakers who can provide you with information about services such as health and wellbeing, that you may be eligible to access.
They include:

- EnCOMPASS Multicultural Aged Care Connector
- Adult Safeguarding Unit
- Find the help you Need with My Aged Care
- Advance Care Directive (Your wishes for future care and personal matters).
