To celebrate South Australia’s Week of Ageing Well 2023 (1-7 October), and International Day for Older Persons on 1 October, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) spoke with five South Australian Seniors Card members who shared their experiences and stories of using public transport.

We heard about what they use public transport for; how Seniors Card members’ free travel has supported them to stay connected and remain active; what they think are the biggest benefits of public transport in our city; and, lastly, a story about a recent trip to the Royal Adelaide Show.
