Adelaide Metro is hosting a ‘Try Before You Ride’ event on Tuesday, 28 July 2026 at Playford Civic Centre.

At this free event, you can practice using an Adelaide Metro bus in a safe and supportive environment. Staff will guide you through a bus journey on a stationary vehicle and explain:

• safety on board
• ticketing and fares
• journey planning
• accessibility features that can make traveling easier.

You can also speak with Passenger Service Assistants from Keolis Adelaide about travelling on Adelaide Metro trains.

To help build confidence using public transport, you can experience virtual reality bus, train and tram journeys through immersive headsets.
